Use it on photographs you own or otherwise have the right to alter, for any purpose, personal or commercial. Nothing produced here is watermarked, restricted or licensed back to us — the repaired file is yours, on the same terms as the original was. You are responsible for having that right in the first place; a page that never sees your picture is in no position to check it.

The page is provided without warranty of any kind. Restoration is estimation: the fill derives hidden pixels from surrounding ones and the tone correction stretches a measured range, and neither is a reconstruction of what the photograph looked like when it was new. No particular quality of result is promised for any given scan, and the pieces on this site describe in detail the damage it will not repair.

Keep your original. The repaired copy is written as a new file and the scan you opened is never modified, but the general rule stands: never let a tool of any kind be the only place a photograph exists.

The page may change, move or stop being published without notice. To the extent the law allows, there is no liability for loss arising from its use, including lost time, lost work or a result you are unhappy with. Where local law does not permit that exclusion, liability is limited to what you paid to use the page, which is nothing.

No advertising runs on this site at the moment: the domain is pending an AdSense approval, and until it lands every placement stays switched off. Once it lands, whatever fills those bands comes from Google and not from here, is governed by Google’s terms alongside the privacy page on this site, and forms no part of the arrangement between you and this page.
